What is Community Supported Agriculture?

The "Community" in Community Supported Agriculture is the keystone to helping our small farm thrive! Your financial support in the winter and early spring allows us to grow fifteen weeks of quality vegetables and flowers for you from June through September. We offer two share sizes on a sliding scale, and “free choice,” meaning you get to choose what to bring home each week. When you invest in a share during the quiet of the winter months, you’re helping us build a more resilient farm for the summer ahead.

We offer a sliding scale to keep the harvest accessible and two pickup locations per week (Wednesdays in Sayville and Saturdays in Greenport). Choose the tier that feels right for your household. If you need assistance on determining which share level to purchase, see the guide below.

Sliding Scale Tiers

Tier 1

Consider this tier if you don’t always meet your basic needs, you cannot take a vacation without financial burden, you are unemployed or underemployed, you receive public assistance, you have debt from day to day life you struggle to pay down.

Tier 2

Consider this tier if you stress about meeting your basic needs, but usually can, you can take a vacation and still pay the month’s bills, you are employed, you have some expendable income, you may have some debt that you can make payments on.

Tier 3

Consider this tier if you own your home, have investments, and savings, you have healthcare that covers your needs, maybe covered by your employer, you travel recreationally, you do not have trouble buying food at the grocery store.
